Picnic facilities and adjacent campgrounds. Menard County Museum, 100 Frisco Avenue, contains local history exhibits and frontier artifacts housed in small, vintage railroad depot. Open MondayWednesday 9 a.m. 5 p.m. Admission. Historic Ditch Walk, which features remnants of the old irrigation ditch built by the Spanish in the mid-1750s, several early churches, the Pioneer Rest Cemetery, the San Saba Presidio, and Fort McKavett State Historical Park.
